Runoff flows into the ocean carrying with it sewege, Salts, Metals, Plastics, medicines, antibiotics and Pathogens-(Bacteria and viruses,) agricultural fertilizers- (Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) and pesticides with the chemicles (2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (2,4-D), Aldrin/Dieldrin, Atrazine, Chlordane, Chlordecone, DDT, DDE, DDD, Endosulfan and Endrin).
Sediment-filled rivers are dumping tremendous amounts of suspended sediment into the ocean.More than 80,000 terabecquerels of radioactive waste have been dumped into the ocean.Planktom Problems ?
