Tucker Carlson Questions if Federal Agencies Allowed January 6 to Happen for Political Gain

According to Former Chief of the Capitol Police, Steven Sund, Federal agencies had intelligence suggesting the potential for violence leading up to January 6, including threats against officers, potential use of chemicals, and plans to storm buildings.

Despite this, none of these details were included in the intelligence assessments. Instead, documents from Sund’s former intelligence unit on January 4th, 5th, and 6th indicated a low probability of civil disobedience.

Carlson remarked, “So, if you were, and I’m not, but if you were conspiracy-minded, you might think that certain agencies concluded there was likely be chaos at the Capitol, and that served their political purposes. And so, they let it happen, and they prevented you from stopping it.”
