Our 1st Goodbye / Day 21 Highwood Montana Wheat Harvest (August 9)

Today is Bryson’s last day of the 2023 wheat harvest. He’s off to college tomorrow.

He will be missed. The team is not complete.

My combine got fixed. It was a bad selenoid in the transmission (?). I’m no mechanic so not even sure if that’s right.

All I know is it felt right to be back in the seat.

We got a little shower right at quitting time.
