Can You Have Same-Sex Attraction and HOCD? The Problem of “Sexual Orientation”

A viewer sent me a question about my previous video about same-sex attraction and obsessive-compulsive disorder, in which I mentioned that people can have both same-sex attraction and HOCD (Homosexuality OCD), also called SO OCD (Sexual Orientation OCD). The person was confused because all of the experts on HOCD define HOCD as being obsessed with the idea of "being gay" without actually being gay.
