Yellow Corporation Shutdown Impact on Thousands!

In a shocking turn of events, Yellow Corporation, one of the nation's largest LTL carriers, officially ceased operations on July 30th, leaving tens of thousands of workers without jobs. Founded in 1924 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, the company had a massive fleet and over 300 terminals nationwide. Yellow Corporation offered both LTL and full truckload services and owned several other companies, including YRC Freight and Holland. With over 30,000 employees, many represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the company faced significant financial challenges and anticipated bankruptcy filing. Despite receiving $700 million in relief funding just three years ago, Yellow Corporation withheld pension and healthcare payments, leading to employee strikes. Teamster General President Sean M.
