In an interview with Eric Bolling of Newsmax, the former president stated that he will announce next week whether he intends to attend the first debate on August 23. Trump explained his decision by saying, "I wouldn't sign the pledge. Why would I sign a pledge if there are people on there that I wouldn't have?"
