Government actions have consequences. When government increases minimum wage it increases unemployment. You can argue the benefits of increasing the minimum wage but have accept the consequence. Same with immigration, you can argue increasing immigration is good but increasing immigration is having detrimental effects on the country. It's the consequences or outcome, not moral ethical argue, that government should be striving for.
