Ail-Mint mints was offered from August 9, 2023 through August 16, 2023

Ail-Mint is a MINT.
Ail-Mint costs 0 Sun.
When planted, Ail-Mint will poison all zombies on the lawn.
Zombies poisoned this way will be poisoned for 12 seconds. (-1 second per level.)
Zombies poisoned this way will take 50 damage per level. (Additional damage per level.)
Ail-Mint plants will be boosted for 11 seconds. (+1 second per level.)

Commentary:
At first glance, having zombies being poisoned for less time sounds like a detriment. However the real metric to examine is how much poison the zombies receive. At level 1, zombies receive 600 poison damage delivered over 12 seconds. At level 2, zombies receive 700 poison damage over 11 seconds. At level 3, it is 800 poison over 10 seconds and so on. The intensity of the poison and the total damage is that is important.

Having the Ail-Mint family of plants being boosted for 11+ seconds should be enough to finish off any zombies which survive the armor-ignoring damage.

Bottom Line:
Mints have been more expensive to obtain. The ability to get a maximum of 20*3*14 or 840 Mints is not something to snicker at.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
