Making myself a kitchen Island with end grain butcher block

Here's the build vid of how I made a rustic standing butcher block island, with 4 two way drawers for access either side for storage.

Made from pine and aged with fire and with chalk paint just to give it some texture, with wenge dowels just for that extra look and an end grain butcher block top.
Finished in Osmo polyX satin for the base.

A very nice friend of mine gave me this used butcher block, pretty much an antique estimated 80 plus years old.

Was a fun to build took about 7+ weeks - so heres 1TB worth of film/edit in 30 mins.
