Police rescue raccoon with jar stuck on head

Protect and Serve took on a different meaning while Officer McDermott and Waechter got gas last night.
“Bandit” the raccoon, can be seen running up to them with a jar on his head. Officer McDermott successfully removed the jar, and Bandit ran away! It’s often asked what is a typical day in law enforcement, and here’s proof that there is no typical day.
