I usually cut the preliminaries to Patrick Gunnels' reading of the Devolution articles. However, this time I decided to keep some of the preliminaries in the video, as it has some clips that keep reminding us of where we have been and suggest where we are going. The significance of this article lies in the origins and purpose of PEADs - warfare, as Patel explains early in the article. So additional (or removed) PEADs might well affect our state of war. I would point out that the possibility of nuclear war has been removed. Biden doesn't have access to nuclear weapons, and no one else, having nuclear weapons, is crazy enough to initiate a nuclear war.
