Toxic War on Masculinity, by Nancy Pearcey

Nancy Pearcey's book, The Toxic War on Masculinity, is the best book I've read on what it means to be a male, man, husband, and father. She reviews the entire scope of manliness from the dawn of America to today's current war on man. She delves into what happened at the turn of the Colonial Age to the Industrial Age and why it matters. She separates Christian men from nominal Christians and secular men.

Nancy provides a more thorough response to why there is abuse today than any so-called "abuse book." She does not complain about the problems but acknowledges the legitimate concerns, but not in a way that galvanizes women into a shrill, hopeless, cynical, angry victim mindset while castigating every man on the planet. I'm thankful she asked me to review it. Every Christian should read it. This book will make a difference.
