At least six people have been killed and hundreds have been displaced as "apocalyptic" wildfires tore through the Hawaiian island of Maui. Residents and tourists were forced to jump into the ocean to escape the blaze as thick smoke and flames engulfed parts of the island. Local authorities say the wildfire was fueled by Hurricane Dora, which caused strong winds, low humidity and dry air. The U.S. National Guard and Hawaiian military has been deployed to continue battling the blaze.
