After three days of looking at how the world is failing financially, today on Something’s Happening Here we pause and look at some other ways that the spirit of bankruptcy is infecting everything in the modern world. And what could be more corrupt than the American federal government in 2023? Whether you believe the corruption comes from the left or the right doesn’t even matter, because this moral bankruptcy has been happening gradually from all ends, so its sudden eruption may seem like it comes from one side or the other but really it’s just the finale of a moral decline decades in the making. So what does it mean and what can we do about it? The answer is both simpler and more elusive than you might think. I’m Steve Hicks, welcome to the show.
