Chicken meat is one of the most consumed in the world. Because they have very tasty meat, chickens are susceptible to becoming prey to a variety of different predators that live outside. Coyotes, foxes, dogs and even cats can become predators when they find one or more chickens roaming in a yard or field. It may seem ridiculous to think that a mouse can attack a chicken, but the idea is not impossible. Rats can definitely attack chickens.
