Zoom is getting weird... What´s the alternative?

Should the newly updated Zoom Telecommunications Inc. terms and conditions cause concern for its users, and if so, what can we do about it?

Zoom has recently updated their terms of service, and this change (specifically sections 10.2 and 10.4) have sparked a concern for privacy among many technologically and legally cautious users. The sections enforce that the user grants absolute proprietorship over Customer Content and User Generated Data collected by Zoom, and this information is implicitly being used broadly, for many applications, not the least of which is artificial intelligence training. What sort of user data is being harvest by this video conferencing platform? Why do they require this information? Do they require this information?
