A rampant brush fire raged unchecked in Cedar Park, Texas, on Tuesday night, resulting in the destruction of an apartment building and causing harm to two others, as confirmed by authorities.

The Cedar Park Fire Department was alerted to a grass fire in the vicinity of 12820 West Parmer Lane at approximately 6:15 p.m.

Firefighters swiftly mobilized in response to the four-alarm blaze, with the fire chief addressing the situation during a press briefing, Fox News reported.

The inferno rapidly extended over an estimated area of 120 acres and remained uncontained as of 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to information provided by the Texas A&M Forest Service.
