My Top 10 2D Platformers - (2023 Edition)

In this video I finally get around to showing my favourite 2D platformers and giving you all a run down of some of the best games in the genre.

This time, I decide that rather than my normal rambling manner, I would instead find eloquent people online who've already well explained many of the points I want to make and highlight a few clips from their channels. This is only the beginning, naturally; and I will be following up this video with detailed discussions on these games myself, but this felt like a fun and different way to share my top 10.

(Little did I know editing this together would take more than 30 hours of editing and 4 rounds of rendering because variable framerates and bitrates on game footage is a nightmare for a video render... it would have been faster to record my own gameplay and speak over it myself; but we live and learn).

Oh and yes... there are total red-herrings in the thumbnail.
