In the first episode of the playtesters we playtest

My silly 'toot toot', the concept is: command and control on the ancient battlefield through sounds and silent signals to the entire groups of units. Alternatively, using Leader(s) to directly command selected units (at personal risk, fatality rates for higher command in hoplite battles was high)

Things are going to happen outside of players' direct control. Units Move, Hold, Regroup, Attack or Retreat - those orders are assigned at players volition at the beginning... and modified later through signaling (card play and occasional die roll). And sound based signals become less efficient or even useless when the din of the battle grows too big. One can use their leader to directly command even individual units but again - the leader cannot be everywhere at once
