Medical Care For Babies Born Alive

In Western Australia, 31 babies were born alive after a failed abortion between 1998 and 2021.

In Queensland and Victoria there have been 724 babies born alive following a failed abortion between 2010 and 2020.

In many States, there is no obligation upon doctors to render lifesaving medical care to those babies.

Today I addressed the Senate about this issue.
