My Son REALLY Relates to FFXIV’s Emet-Selch. Should I Be Concerned?

With such a wealth of well written characters in Final Fantasy XIV, From A Realm Reborn to Endwalker, My sons favorite hero...is actually a villain. Emet-Selch is a monster in any right, and yet there is something compelling about him, something human. Something relatable.
As my kid adores this character, should I be concerned?
