Same Day Price Drops 👍 or 👎

Should you be using same day price drops to increase your one call close rate? I don't think so. And here's why. I realize this is a controversial topic, and many people believe that this is a great way to get people to create a sense of urgency and buy now because of these amazing same day savings.

And I can see why it works for some folks. But what I do challenge people is that it might be bastardizing your sales in the long run. In fact, if you offer someone a price drop, it's gonna send their mind spiraling with questions like, Wait a minute, if I would've paid full price, they would've been taking me.

And if they offered me that price drop, how much more could I have gotten? And if they're trying to play cards like this, what else are they hiding from me? And that's why I believe that if your price drops, so does your scope of work. There's no such thing as negotiating in price. You negotiate on what you provide.

And strong salespeople can close equally as well without having to use gimmicks like price drops.
