Sorcerer (1977): RIP William Friedkin - An American Genius

Everything has already been said about how great and influential William Friedkin was as a filmmaker. A genuine iconoclast who had an exceptional ability to move across genres and outshine other filmmakers seemingly with great ease. My favourite of his films is Sorcerer and so today I thought I'd do a review on it in his memory.

If you haven't already then I highly recommend you check out this film with Roy Scheider in the lead. It is engrossing, pulse pounding and, right where it counts, experimental in the best sense of the word.
