Rep. Castro accuses border patrol of treating illegal immigrants ‘barbaric’

During a congressional trip to Eagle Pass, Texas, Representative Joaquin Castro (D-TX) accused Texas border patrol agents of treating illegal immigrants “like animals” by installing razor wire along the U.S.-Mexico border. Rep. Castro led members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and Texas Democratic delegation on a trip to Eagle Pass on Tuesday to view the state of the border and speak with local authorities and citizens about federal immigration enforcement.
