🐛 The LARGEST Silk Cocoon Market in ALL of ASIA | Solo Travel India | Karnataka Vlog (Ep. 71)

Where is the largest silk cocoon market in Asia? Here in Ramanagara, India! Located less than 100 KM from Bangalore.

A local man, Krishna, brought me here to see this cocoon market. I decided that there was not much information about the market, alone, so we asked people where we could find people who raised silkworms.

After we drove to a house full of worms, we asked them where we could find people who buy and use the silk cocoons. And from there, people kept telling us where we could find the next stage in the silk process.

So, we followed our curiosity and knocked on everyone's door ... asking if we could film their business for a few moments. Surprisingly, everyone was very welcoming! 2 people even gave us a personal escort with their motorbike!

It was definitely an interesting day. I never knew how silk threads and fabrics were made, until today.
