"Play Soccer with Us!" ⚽️ | Berat, Albania Castle 🇦🇱 🏰 Solo Travel | Albania Travel Vlog (Ep. 19)

In today's Albanian travel vlog, I visit the Berat castle. It took much longer than anticipated to get to the top because I thought I would trust google to get me there quicker by walking on a trail behind the castle. It turned out that there were some angry dogs nearby that didn't like me in their area. So I had to walk all the way back down and then back up again on the other side by using the main road. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Once I got to the top, I simply started walking around with no goal in mind.

I seen a man on the top of an old building, so I decided to go fly my drone from that spot. Unfortunately, my drone was having connection issues.

As I walked down from the mosque, two kids greeted me and invited me to play a bit of soccer with them. I accepted their request.

After about 10 minutes of playing soccer, they offered to show me around their area. They took me to a local viewpoint that is breathtaking in the evening! If you visit, you simply must go to this viewpoint!

Eventually, the sun started to go down and the kids showed me a shortcut down the mountain. We parted ways.

This was definitely not how I anticipated the afternoon to go. But it was fun. The best part about traveling, for me, is meeting local people.
