Trying OBBATTU (Holige) During UGADI | VV Puram | Solo Travel India | Bangalore Vlog (Ep. 69)

Tonight, I am on VV Puram street in Bangalore, India. A local friend and I are trying Obbattu (Holige) on the day of the Ugadi Festival.

The chef puts the mixture with spices in the middle of the flattened dough, and then folds it in to a ball. He then flattens the ball and fries it with gee.

The taste was really good! It wasn't too sweet! Obbattu was incredibly oily, though.
