This House was Made from STONE in 1812! | Zekate House | Solo Travel | Albania Travel Vlog (Ep. 16)

In today's Albania travel vlog, I explore the Zakate house in Gjirokaster.

This house was built between 1811 and 1812. It was gifted to the Zeko family by Ali Pasha. The Zakate house is almost entirely made out of stone...even the roof is made of stone! It was made to house many immediate family members.

While there, I learned that the Zakate House is also a coffee shop in the summer! I highly recommend that you go and have some coffee there. The views while drinking your coffee / tea / beer would definitely make the experience more enjoyable!

The cost was 200 Albanian Lek to enter (around $2 USD).
