Visiting a Village Near Ooty (I Love VIllages!) | Solo Travel India | Tamil Nadu Vlog (Ep. 74)

I spent the entire day traveling with a local indian woman, Maitry, in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, India. We had so much fun!

Our plan was to visit a place called avalanche lake, but after arriving we learned that the road was closed due to construction.

Instead, we stopped at a local village called Kahkungee colony. It's so small that google doesn't even have it labeled!

The local people gathered around us after just few minutes. They all watched us fly the drone and then after we finished flying, they invited us for tea. Unfortunately, we had to decline because of our limited time.

We spent the next few hours driving around and looking at the beautiful landscape. We seen a tea hill and wanted to climb to the top to take a few photos. There were young children standing on the side of the road, so we asked them if we could walk to the top. They said it was ok. And they even decided to come with us. We had a lot of fun trying to communicate to each other.

We had a lot of fun in Ooty!
