People in Sholavandan Catch Fish Like This!? | Solo Travel India | Tamil Nadu Vlog (Ep. 63)

Have you ever seen people try to catch fish using a long flexible steel rod? I certainly haven't. Today, I walked around a village in Tamil Nadu, India called Sholavandan. It is a cool little village full of coconut trees and friendly people.

I spent a lot of time wandering around the Vaigai river and talking to many of the local people. Unfortunately I don't speak Tamil, but we were able to communicate by using very simple english, body language, as well as my translation app on my phone.

I hope to return and get some Drone footage of this location!
