Could Atari Save The Driver Franchise From Ubisoft

Atari used to develop and publish the Driver games but had to sell the franchise off due to financial difficulties to Ubisoft. Atari has been on an acquisition spree recently and the question becomes whether or not Atari could buy the franchise back from Ubisoft.
