Plant-based meat company Beyond Meat (BYND), known for selling meatless products through trendy advertising, posted a 30% revenue decline in their second quarter due to falling demand for its products, the company announced Monday.
Although the company is blaming their downfall on inflation and the downwards spiral of the economy, reports have come out about alleged internal issues among staff. One example from CNN reported that three higher-ranking ex-employees of the company all left around the same time last year.
One of these staff members was a top executive at the company. In an ironic turn of events, the executive was accused of biting a man's nose before choosing to leave BYND alongside his two counterparts.
