Over 11,000 city workers go on 24-hour strike in Los Angeles

Over 11,000 California workers will be joining Hollywood actors and writers in protest today in Los Angeles, but for their own cause. Thousands of LA city workers are taking part in a 24-hour strike protesting against what union leaders are calling repeated labor law violations.
