The Russian Defense Ministry reported the successful launch of a military satellite on the medium-class Soyuz-2.1b rocket on Monday. The rocket was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome, and the Soyuz-2.1b rocket's trajectory was continuously tracked using the ground-based automated control complex at the Titov Main Test and Space Systems Control Centre, according to a statement. The launch process and spacecraft insertion into the intended orbit occurred without any issues.

Following the vehicle's orbital insertion, the Main Intelligence Centre of the Space Forces began analyzing and processing information related to the newly launched object. This marks the third launch of a rocket on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Defense from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome this year, following the Soyuz-2.1a and Soyuz-2.1c, which took place on March 23 and 29 respectively.
