In a conversation with Dawn News’s Nadir Guramani, Pakistan’s Human Rights Minister Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada discussed various aspects of Pakistan's relationship with Afghanistan and the perception of Afghan involvement in attacks against Pakistan.

The minister disagrees with the belief that Afghan soil is used for attacks against Pakistan, citing a recent statement by the Afghan Taliban's defense minister that they will not allow attacks on Pakistan.
He also emphasizes the strength of Pakistan's military and attributes the survival of the nation to it.

The politician claims that payments were made by a neighboring country but cautions against solely attributing it to Afghanistan, considering the exploitation Afghans have faced during decades of war.
When asked about militants entering Swat, Pirzada attributes it to individuals who were allowed entry during the previous government's "streamline process."

The minister expresses faith in the sincerity of Afghan leadership and highlights the shared blood ties, language, and culture between the two nations' people, doubting that the Afghan Taliban leadership would betray their trust.
