AG Barr confirmed that the FBI illegally spied on Trump

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., criticized FBI agent Peter Strzok during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing focused on Attorney General William Barr's handling of the Mueller report. Hawley said he was in disbelief that a top government official would use his power to “try to overturn a democratic election. To my mind, that’s the real crisis here,” he said. Strzok expressed his dislike for President Donald Trump in a series of text messages that were later made public. Hawley pointed to another FBI official, former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who told "60 Minutes" earlier this year that Justice Department officials had considered invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office.
