Third Time Is the First Time! Antique Megamall, Vintage Magnificence

As we drive around the country, one big name in antique mall-dom keeps appearing, that of the Brass Armadillo chain of giant vintage malls located on the edges of six major American cities! Today, we add their Omaha location to our travels for the first time, and look forward to comparing it to their similarly huge Kansas City and Denver area malls.

The comparisons are good here! Omaha, Nebraska's Brass Armadillo gives better service and better deals on more interesting vintage on this visit, where Sommerso fruit paperweights, a flower power era girl head vase and a hot red pin from the same era all are welcome small additions to my already overstuffed show-bound van!

There's so much to see in this ultra-large mall, where most dealers are still keeping it real with vintage and antiques, and some that are beyond typical! Specialists in Hagen-Renaker figures, Fisher-Price play sets, Fenton art lines and Jadeite occupy entire showcases, and a really cool 'General store' offers old-school candy brands in a space decorated with tons of antique and vintage tins, kitchen implements, general store displays and a lot of fun and interesting gadgets to boot!
