Leaning against the preacher bench will add more support for your elbows, which allows you to get slightly more out of your DB Curls because you’re minimizing the involvement of other muscle groups…usually caused by momentum and/or using too much weight. In other words, we are standardizing your form, which makes it easier to identify progress, as opposed to cheating your way to a new PR. ‘Cheat reps’ can be valuable, but don’t abuse them in your training.

Try these Elbow-Supported DB Bicep Curls before something like an Incline DB Curl or a Faceaway Cable Curl to finish off the biceps in the lengthened position & you’ll probably need a shirt with bigger sleeves to conceal those JUICY arms💪🏻
