Myakka State Park: One of the oldest and largest Florida State Parks (37,000 acres / 58 Square Miles), Myakka River State Park offers a wide variety of activities and experiences that are sure to be an adventure. Just south of Tampa in Sarasota, this surprisingly wild park is just miles away from some of Florida’s best beaches. This park if full of wildlife including lots of: Alligators, birds, snakes, wild boars, insects, and some even say Bigfoot to name a few.

Bigfoot Sightings In Myakka State Park: There are have been many sightings of Bigfoot in Myakka River State Park spanning decades. In the past several years, the best proof of Bigfoot in this park are 2 separate daytime video episodes, found on Finding Bigfoot and on the web. A known hot spot, many eyewitness accounts and Bigfoot researchers come to this park hoping to find Bigfoot. One look around this park and you might agree, this would be a place where Bigfoot might live.
