Why is Zoom ordering employees back to the office?

The COVID-19 pandemic locked down much of the world and slammed the brakes on the morning and evening commute. In March 2020 hundreds of millions of workers were suddenly told: ‘don't come into the office, zoom from home instead.’
The technology behind Zoom made remote working possible, almost fundamentally altering where and how we work and even what we wear to work or don't wear. But it may have been too good to be true. Now Zoom is telling its employees to come back to the office - at least twice a week. The change comes after a drop in demand for Zoom's services following the end of the pandemic.
