Mystery Mix-CD Treasure Hunt #19: America! #america #shorts

I recently found a treasure trove of old Mix-CD’s I made back in the olden days. Since I have zero recollection of what I put on these, I figured I’ll find out with all of you.

This round the pick is “America!” - I made this CD in 2001, shortly after September 11th. I was also a 21yr old Sergeant in the Army at the time. Safe to say that patriotism was running through my blood at full throttle during this time. It was also a time before I appreciated the intricacies of protest songs and the lyrics within them. (See: Springsteen or Buffalo Springfield) One last note, Buffalo Springfield is filled with Canadians, I had no idea at the time.
