2009 - Video Remembrance of John H. Owen Jr. (1932-2009)

I created this tribute, with love, for my dad's memorial service in Chicago. He died Friday, August 7, 2009.

John Henry Owen Jr., 76, of Chicago, formerly of Beverly and Hinsdale, passed away Friday, Aug. 7, at his home, beloved husband of Lois, nee Smisek; loving father of Ken, Dave and Beth; proud grandfather of Emma, Sarah, Jacob and Owen Pinto.

Born Oct. 25, 1932 in Evanston, IL, son of the late John H. Owen and Arline Van Buren Owen, brother of Marion Bodeman, Charles, William and James.

A graduate of Michigan State University, he earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and had a long career as a financial adviser at Bacon, Whipple & Company and William Blair & Co. A memorial will be held at a later date.
