A 45 pound Halibut and my 39 Red Salmon at the Homer Spit, AK 8/6/23

While I was doing the cleaning on my 39 Red Sockeye Salmon at the cleaning station out on the Homer Alaska Spit, some people brought some Halibut. I estimated that Halibut to be around 40 pounds and it turned out to be 45 pounds. The price of Halibut has gone up to between 30 to as much as 38 dollars a pound. Fortunately I asked a friend who I proxied for to get me some Halibut chunks instead of giving me money for gas. 8/6/23 Homer, Alaska mefoundation.world
