One of the Big Apple’s most popular content creators, the wildly entertaining Fanum has earned himself millions of fans thanks to his one-of-a-kind take on living in the world’s most well-established metropolis. How did this street-smart kid go from getting into fights at school to emulating his favorite YouTubers on his path towards becoming one of the platform’s biggest stars? And did he or did he not just get arrested by the NYPD? Fanum got his start as a content creator in the Eighth Grade, but at first, he didn’t post his own material – instead, this enterprising kid came up with the idea to post other channel’s content and pass it off as his own, in particular material by brands like “World Star”. Taking inspiration from early YouTube channels like “White Boy Seventh Street”, Fanum’s first foray into the world of streaming began with the video game, “Call of Duty” on a YouTube channel he created in January of 2013 that was originally known by the name of “PlayStation Rob”.
