Russia has recently included Norway in its roster of countries that have allegedly performed "hostile" actions against Russian diplomatic missions. According to Russia's state-run news agency RIA, this forces Norway to be restricted in the amount of local personnel they can recruit in the nation. To be precise, the Norwegian government is only allowed to hire 27 individuals. This comes after Norway asserted claims of espionage and chose to expel 15 Russian diplomats from their soil in April.

"This is a clear demonstration of Russia's determination to show its displeasure at the Norwegian action," said Dr. Vasil Chizhevskiy, a professor of international politics at Norway's University of Oslo.
