If you’re managing security for your church, home school tutorial, or private school, you may have shopped around for a security consultant in the past. Conducting security related training services, developing Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), and conducting security assessments usually requires assistance from an outside expert. Unfortunately, finding the right “expert” can be difficult. I’ve included some tips below that may help you with selecting the right service provider. So, don’t be afraid to ask the consultant and/or expert for a certificate of completion for any security assessment course or certification. I also suggest asking if the consultant and/or expert has experience in conducting assessments for schools and/or churches.
