Takeaway:

When Jesus gave forth His doctrine of the New Testament, he did not give it to the Pharisees under the law (old bottles,) but He chose 12 men who were not tainted (new bottles.) There could be multiple meanings to the term “new wine,” but I believe it could be a reference to the Holy Spirit. It’s possible that the Spirit’s activity is going to be very limited during the time of wrath, and will be scarce upon the earth outside of the few tribulation saints or remnant that God will operate through.
