Mass Missile Attack on Ukraine, Kyiv “Bombs” Two Key Bridges Linking Crimea, Drone Shot Near Moscow

Russia launched a barrage of drones and missiles at Ukraine in a mass attack that came in several waves overnight. Ukraine's Air Force claims 30 missiles and 27 kamikaze drones were shot down by air defence overnight. Moscow mayor claims Russian air defences shot down a Ukrainian drone as it approached Moscow on August 6. Zelensky visited a military airfield in Ukraine and inspected west-supplied missiles, aircraft and air defence systems on air force day. Ukrainian troops reportedly struck the Chongar Bridge and Henichesk bridge with Storm Shadow missiles. Russia claims to have hit military airbases in the Khmelnytskyi and Rivne regions in western Ukraine and said “all targets were hit”.
