Are you 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 yourself or 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 about yourself?⁣

I've been in my own cocoon in what feels like the last two months. Layers upon layers.⁣

Nothing ever goes away until it teaches you what you need to learn and receive.⁣

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧; 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞, 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭.⁣

The saying "what you resist persist is real.⁣

So often we run away, avoid and react to this experience "not feeling good" - but when we're willing to lean into it, hold space for it and explore the opportunity it wants to present, we can learn new edges about ourselves.⁣

Take your time.⁣

It's not about "how fast can I get through this?"...it's about "how willing and able am I to trust myself in this experience so that something bigger can move through me?"⁣

Going into a cocoon doesn't need to be heavy or isolating.⁣

It gets to be giving yourself the space to explore behind closed doors.⁣

Who are you when no one is watching? Who are you when you process internally before outwardly speaking? 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.⁣

Your truth will be shared and seen in the way you move, and in the way that you show up.⁣

Let go of distractions and be with you.⁣

A distraction I recognized recently for me was social media. I noticed how unhealthy patterns were showing up with the time I was spending on here and how my body was responding to it.⁣

Taking a week away revealed so much more to me than I could even anticipate. More layers upon layers in such a positive way.⁣

Going inward is powerful. It's exciting.⁣

I sat in the mirror looking at myself for three hours straight. No phone. No music. Just me.⁣

I double dare you to try it! ✨🤍
