In this video I explore the Oyler uranium mines in Capitol Reef National Park. These are some of the easiest mines to get access to and they are fairly radioactive. Dark colored uranium can be see in the sandstone around these mines. Its a great place to visit if you want to hear your Geiger counter freak out a bit. There are also some great hiking trails in the national park and its one of my favorite places to visit.
